Deposit

A 50% deposit of the daily rate or package is required upon booking of a hunting safari. The balance is payable by credit card, cash or travelers cheque.

Cancellation

Upon cancellation of the hunting safari, cancellation fees will be due and payable according to the following:

If cancellation takes place more than 45 days prior to the safari – the full refund will be applicable – Deposit made and bank charges.

If cancellation takes place less than 45 days prior to the safari – a 50% cancellation fee will be applicable.

Legal Requirements

Tall Grass Safaris will not be liable for any losses, damage and expenses suffered by any client as a result of sickness, quarantine, weather conditions, war, strikes, riots or any other cause outside of our control. Tall Grass Safaris will try their utmost to ensure that clients are safe, but will not take responsibility for matters which are out of their control.

Tall Grass Safaris accepts no liability in respect of death, injury, loss or damage to person or property arising out of any act, omission or negligence. The client shall be deemed to have waived, renounced and abandoned any and all rights or entitlement which the client may be entitled to under the provision of the law of the Republic of South Africa for any loss or damage to persons or property.

The liability for any loss or expense arising from the loss of property, cancellation or curtailment of the hunting safari however caused, save only to the extent that such loss of baggage, cancellation or curtailment was caused by Tall Grass Safaris negligence, shall not be held on the account of Tall Grass Safaris. If sickness or accident interrupts a safari, Tall Grass Safaris shall not be liable for any cost or expense arising there from, save only to the extent that such sickness or accident was caused by the Tall Grass Safaris willful act or gross negligence. The operator shall not be liable for any refund, either total or partial, of the client’s money paid. We recommend passengers to take out necessary insurance’s to protect themselves against such eventuality.

If any matter were to be unresolved, all recourse is to be determined in a South African court of Law
